Ernest Hemingway did more to influence the style of English prose than any other writer of his time. Publication of The Sun Also Rises and A Farewell to Arms immediately established him as one of the greatest literary lights of the 20th century. His classic novella The Old Man and the Sea won the Pulitzer Prize in 1953. Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954. He died in 1961.

Its a pirated version of the book; its only 110 pages long. Complete waste of money. I should have read the customer reviews.
It should be prominently stated that this is a radically abridged version of the novel written by Ernest Hemingway. This is stated nowhere in the blurb for the book, except that it does state that is is just 94 pages long. This was very deceptively marketed.
This is a pirate reproduction of the book and not the actual book that Hemingway had written. It is incredibly short compared to the actual version and grammar, spelling, and paragraph mistakes are littered throughout. Not only that, but the cover is cheaply made and very pixelated, and the author description on the back is written exclusively in Spanish.
Don't let the one-star review fool you; I love Hemingway. But the Kindle version of this book available on Amazon is badly flawed. I'm 3/4 through the e-book and I've lost track of how many spelling and format errors exist in the text. I'm marking them as I go. There's no excuse for this. When I spend money on a book I want to know that it was published with adequate attention to accuracy. Whoever edited this book for the Kindle needs to be fired immediately.
This is not the book by Hemingway. It is a misrepresentation of the real book, only about 100 pages. Amazon should be ashamed to allow this sort of activity.
